This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Andhara Math P.S.Case No.76 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioners, who happen to be mother-in-law, father-in-law and brother-in-law (Dewar) is that they tied the deceased and set her on fire.

Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioners is that there are general and omnibus allegations against them and no specific allegation has been attributed against them. They are in custody for more than three months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.62100 of 2017 (3) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that the post mortem report also discloses that the body was found tied.

Having heard both sides and in view of facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners, however, since they are in custody, the learned court below is directed to expedite commitment of the case and once the case is committed, expedite the trial also. With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
