This is an application for bail in connection with Paharpur P.S.Case No. 169 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B, 120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Petitioner is mother-in-law of deceased and allegation is of dowry death.

Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that no specific allegation has been attributed to the petitioner and she is in custody for more than five months and charge sheet has been submitted.

Having heard both sides and considering the facts and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.52493 of 2017 (2) dt.21-11-2017 2/2 circumstances of the case, let petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran, Motihari, in connection with Paharpur P.S.Case No. 169 of 2017, subject to the following conditions :- (1) One of the bailors shall be a local person having sufficient immoveable properties within the jurisdiction of court concerned, (2) Petitioner will co-operate in trial and appear on each and every date in court, failing which her bail bond shall be cancelled.
