JUSTICE NAVANITI PRASAD SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-06-2015 The petitioner is the husband and apprehends his arrest in Bhagalpur (Mahila) P.S. Case No.60 of 2014 instituted under Section-498A/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section-3⁄4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

From perusal of the order of the learned Sessions Judge, it appears that efforts for reconciliation were made but the wife has refused to stay with the husband on the ground that the husband and in-laws tortures him. It is apparent that it is a matrimonial discord which would only aggravate if anticipatory bail is not granted.

No.17830 of 2015 (02) dt.09-06-2015 2/2 Be that as it may, in the event of arrest or surrender within four weeks from today, the petitioner, namely, Ratan Kumar Verma, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Bhagalpur in connection with Bhagalpur (Mahila) P.S. Case No.60 of 2014, subject to all conditions as laid down in Section-438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code.
