The petitioners are apprehending arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 149, 151, 332,352,353,427 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of The Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act,1984. Prosecution case is that a mob was led by the petitioners and others for protesting against the increase in holding tax when the mob get uncontrolled and pelted stones on police personnel causing injury to them.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioners

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.4527 of 2016 (2) dt.03-02-2016 2/2 that the mob was making protest after due intimation of the district administration against certain hike in the holding tax when the accusation is omnibus and general. The police roped the petitioners in the present case simply because they intimated the administration for making protest against the hike in holding tax. Considering the accusation against the mob, let the above named petitioners be released on anticipatory bail, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, on furnishing bail bond of `10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned CJM, Munger in connection with Jamalpur P.S. Case No.119/2014, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (Dinesh Kumar Singh, J) Ashwini/- U T
