1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. (i) Issuance of an appropriate writ including a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on the post of Class-III from Class- IV on compassionate appointment on the basis of notification dated 25th April 2012 and dated 24th August 2016 issued under the Signature of Principal Secretary, General Administration Department Government of Bihar and Additional-Secretary, General Administration Department, Government of Bihar because the petitioner has been appointed on the post of Class-IV which is against the said notification though the petitioner has passed Intermediate and according to

Patna High Court CWJC No.14494 of 2022(2) dt.20-02-2024 2/2 the said notification the petitioner should have been appointed on the post of Class-III in grade pay of Rs. 1900/- where as some persons who had passed intermediate have been appointed on the post of Class-III in grade pay of Rs. 1900/-. The respondents have opted pick and choose policy and ignoring the guidelines issued by the state government."

2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to approach the District Magistrate, Banka, for redressal of his aforesaid grievances, in light of the order dated 29.01.2013, passed in C.W.J.C. No.1748 of 2013. Liberty so sought is granted.

3. The writ petition stands disposed off.
