The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 280 of 2017 dated 20.04.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 294, 354(D), 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11 of the POCSO Act. The attempt of the petitioner and two others to abduct the daughter of the informant was foiled and the petitioner was arrested from the spot by the students on 13.07.2017. Since then, the petitioner is languishing in custody.

Considering the aforesaid facts as also that the petitioner does not bear any criminal antecedent, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

No.53518 of 2017 (4) dt.07-12-2017 named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (POCSO Act), Sitamarhi in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 280 of 2017.
