JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 08-09-2023 The present petition has been filed by the petitioner for extending the time granted to him for surrendering before the learned court below, vide order dated 07.07.2023, passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 26149 of 2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that on account of communication gap, the petitioner could not surrender within the time frame prescribed by this Court by the aforesaid order dated 07.07.2023, hence, four weeks further time be granted for the purposes of surrendering before the Ld. Trial Court and being admitted to the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59435 of 2023(2) dt.08-09-2023 2/2 considering the averments made in the present petition and taking into account the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, I deem it fit and proper to extend the time granted to the petitioner, by this Court by an order dated 7.7.2023, by a further period of four weeks, for the purposes of surrendering before the learned Court of ACJM IV, Nalanda in connection with Sohsarai P.S. Case No. 65 of 2022 and availing the privilege of anticipatory bail.

The present petition stands allowed with the aforesaid modification in the order dated 7.7.2023 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 26149 of 2023.
