The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offences under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30 (a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is contended that, as per allegation, 30.78 litres of foreign liquor was recovered from the dickey of the car which was being driven by the petitioner. Petitioner claims that he is having clean antecedent and is in custody since 08.09.2017.

No.53624 of 2017(2) dt.09-11-2017 2/2 Considering the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Special Judge, Excise Act, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Turukaulia P.S. Case No. 554 of 2017 with a condition that if the petitioner, after his release in this case, is again found to be involved in criminal case of similar nature, the court concerned would be at liberty to take steps for cancellation of his bail bonds.
