The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Rahika P.S. Case No. 124/2017 dated 10.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 30(a) and 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner was arrested at the spot and was found in a drunken state. 9 litres of Nepali liquor was also recovered from his possession.

Taking into account the period of custody of the petitioner which is from 11.09.2017, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above

No.55577 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 2/2 named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge II-cum-Special Judge (Excise Act), Madhubani in connection with Rahika P.S.
