Petitioner seeks bail in connection with Complaint Case No. 774C of 2012 registered under Sections 323, 307, 498(A), 504, 494 of the I.P.C. and section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

Accusation against the petitioner is about demand of dowry and torture to the complainant Santu Devi and also to perform remarriage.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that petitioner, who happens to be the husband, has falsely been implicated in this case due to misunderstanding. It is also submitted that petitioner is in custody since 01.09.2014.
