Mr. Prabhat Kumar Verma, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the Veer Kunwar Singh University submits upon instruction that the cheque dated 16.3.2016 was received in the office of the College on 17.3.2016 itself but on account of negligence of the concerned Clerk, the same had not been put up before the Principal. However, he has now been informed that the cheque is lying with the Principal which the petitioner can collect on any day.
