SINHA ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 20-05-2015 In the light of my order dated 06.05.2015 Circle Officer, Arwal has produced acquaintance roll wherefrom it appears that arrears of salary in the light of the instruction of the Government contained in Memo No. 287 dated 27.02.1988 was received by the petitioner on 18.04.1988, in the circumstances, there is no doubt that petitioner made false statement before this Court on 06.05.2015. Having found the petitioner to have spoken falsehood before this Court, I have no option but to relegate him to jail custody. When such order was passed petitioner submitted unconditional
Patna High Court MJC No.4769 of 2014 dt.20-05-2015 2/2 apology as also offered to deposit cost of Rs. 500/- in the office of Patna High Court Legal Services Committee by tomorrow. In view of the undertaking given by the petitioner to deposit cost of Rs.500/- the contempt petition is disposed of without remanding the petitioner to jail custody for the falsehood spoken before this Court.
