Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with K. Hat (Maranga) PS Case No.681 of 2017, registered under Sections 363/366A/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Allegation in brief is that in the evening when the minor daughter of the informant had gone to market along with her sister then one Ansur, a distant relative, made an attempt to take her away on the motorcycle and her sister objected but succeeded in taking her away.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the daughter of the informant was major as per her age recorded in Adhar Card and it was a case of elopement as she eloped with

No.13474 of 2018(4) dt.26-04-2018 2/2 Ansur, the brother of the petitioner and later on, on pressure of her parents the girl returned back and levelled allegation against the petitioner and others of committing rape. Having considered the aforesaid facts and circumstances, petitioner Md. Mansoor Alam @ Md. Mansoor @ Mansoor is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Purnea in connection with K.
