The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 394 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

As per prosecution, it is a case of robbery and snatching of Rs. 4,500 from the informant.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he is not named in the FIR and on the basis of confessional statement of other co-accused Jamil Akhtar, name of the petitioner came into light. Nothing incriminating material has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner nor petitioner has not been put on TIP. The petitioner is in custody since 15.07.2022. Learned APP appearing for the State has opposed the

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Barsoi P.S. Case No. 34 of 2022, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M.- I, Katihar.
