JUSTICE RAJEEV RANJAN PRASAD ORAL ORDER 10-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant. The petitioner, in the present case, is seeking regular bail in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.132 of 2017, registered for offences alleged under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 302 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the First Information Report, this petitioner was one of the assailants who had been assaulting the victim by brick on his mouth. The injury report also shows lacerated wound muscle deep of both lips to support the allegation against the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the informant submits that the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63676 of 2017 (2) dt.10-01-2018 nature of allegations shows that it was concerted effort and attack by all the accused persons on the vital part of the body which caused injury and ultimately the victim died. In the facts and circumstances stated hereinabove, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Sour Bazar P.S. Case No.132 of 2017 pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Saharsa is rejected.

The application stands dismissed.
