2. Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 323, 406, 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and section 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

3. The case is one under section 498A and the petitioner is a husband.

4. Earlier the matter had been sent to the Patna High Court Mediation & Reconciliation Center for reaching an amicable settlement between the parties. The mediation report is on record, which shows that the issues have been settled

No.60341 of 2024(7) dt.16-06-2025 2/2 between the parties and the terms of the settlement have also been annexed vide memorandum of agreement dated 08.054.2025 passed in Mediation Proceeding No.12 of 2025, whereby the parties have resolved the dispute by way of one time settlement on the payment of Rs. 2,95,000/- It has jointly submitted by the counsel for both the parties that the entire payment has already been made and the matter is now finally settled.

5. In such view of the matter, I am inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in terms of the settlement arrived at between the parties. Accordingly, in the event of his arrest/ surrender within a period of four weeks from today the petitioner shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- (ten thousand)with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned court below where the case is pending/ successor court in Complaint Case No. 1183 of 2018, subject to condition as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
