2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 366A and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per prosecution case, informant, namely Durgavati Devi, alleged that on 09.12.2021 at about 5 PM, her 18 years old daughter, namely Jyoti Kumari, went to coaching at Mahamadpur Bazar but did not return home. It is further alleged that one Madhu Kumari met the victim on her way back and lured her with the intention of marrying her off to another boy and all the accused persons, including this petitioner, kidnapped her. When victim did not return home, informant approached one Kanti Devi, who demanded Rs. 5,000/- to bring her

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.67662 of 2024(5) dt.15-04-2025 2/2 daughter back. The victim in her statement recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S. has supported the prosecution case. The learned trial court has assessed the age of victim as 13 years.

4. Considering the nature of accusation and statement of victim recorded under Section 183 of the B.N.S.S., the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) shashank/- U T
