The present application has been filed for quashing of first information report bearing Chausa P.S. Case No. 79 of 2021, dated 02.08.2021, lodged under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has committed no offence. There is a long pending dispute between the parties due to which his name figured in the case.

Counsel for the State submits that upon going through the first information report it transpires that it requires investigation.

Patna High Court CR. WJC No.1272 of 2022(2) dt.05-05-2023 2/2 Upon perusal of the first information report it transpires to this Court that there is direct allegation against the petitioner of cognizable offence, therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter.

This writ petition is dismissed.
