The petitioner is in custody since 21.03.2019 in connection with Dhanarua P.S. Case No. 114/2019 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 147/148/149/323/324/ 325/307/452 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the alleged injury on Mukesh by the petitioner does not stand supported by any injury report.

Learned counsel for the State, however, submits that there is specific allegation against the petitioner of having attacked the said Mukesh, Devar of the informant, and therefore, he is not entitled to the privilege of bail.

No.56508 of 2019(5) dt.21-10-2019 2/2 Learned counsel for the informant submits that the injuries were found to be grievous in nature and, therefore, he should not be extended the privilege of bail. Considering the nature of injury inflicted by the petitioner and which has been specifically stated in the FIR itself, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to this petitioner. It is, accordingly, rejected.

The petitioner, however, may renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
