JUSTICE ARUN KUMAR ORAL ORDER 09-02-2018 Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the State.

This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 304B, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation, in brief, is that the informant's sister was married with the petitioner in the year 2015 and she was used to be tortured by the petitioner and others for realizing further dowry. The informant went to his sister's matrimonial home, she was not found there and on query the informant was informed by the neighbours that after killing her, the dead body was disposed of.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that police has submitted charge sheet under Sections 498A, 364, 201 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code. in fact, the girl has eloped with another person and in the regard complaint was filed on

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61399 of 2017 (4) dt.09-02-2018 2/2 17.10.2017.

The learned counsel for the State submits that the present case was filed on 15.07.2017 and there is specific allegation of torturing the informant's sister and disposing of the dead body and the petitioner is husband.

Having considered the said facts and circumstances, prayer for bail is rejected.

The trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude it within a period of two years. (Arun Kumar, J) SA/- U
