2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 75 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 8(c), 21(c), 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 416 bottles of 100 ml. each codeine has been recovered from the vehicle.

4. The petitioner is in custody since 17.03.2025.

5. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that one Birbal Mehta was the owner of the consignment and he has been granted bail.

6. Learned APP appearing for the State opposes the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner.

7. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned District & Additional Session Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, NDPS Act, Purnea/ concerned Court in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 75 of 2025.
