In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection Gandhi Maidan P.S. Case No.492 of 2015, registered for the offence punishable under Section 408 of the Indian Penal Code.
As per the allegation, the petitioner was an employee of the informant-Pravin Agrawal, proprietor of Century Plywood shop. The informant gave an amount of Rs.25,00,000/- to the petitioner to deposit the same in the bank, but he did not deposit the same and fled away and later on the money was recovered on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.8371 of 2016 (3) dt.22-04-2016 2/2 his statement.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on account of serious illness of his father the petitioner immediately went to his house, there he had also fallen ill, from there he had given telephonic call to the informant.
The petitioner is in jail since 5.12.2015. Looking to the period of custody, let the petitioner-Priya Ranjan Jha be released on bail on 06.05.2016 on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10, 000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna, in connection with Gandhi Maidan P.S.
