JUSTICE KISHORE KUMAR MANDAL ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 29-06-2016 Heard the counsel for the petitioners and the State. Two sisters paid the amount through the bank Challan for execution of the sale document which could not, however, be executed. They want refund/return thereof.
A counter affidavit on behalf of respondent no.3 is filed stating therein that after verification of the Challan and completing the formality the amount has been refunded. The aforesaid stand of the respondent is not disputed by the petitioner.
Prima facie, it appears to the Court that the grievance of the petitioner has been address/redressed. The claim for payment of interest, either statutory or otherwise, shall be raised by the petitioner before the District Collector for
Patna High Court CWJC No.20270 of 2013 dt.29-06-2016 2/2 consideration and disposal in accordance with law. The writ application stands disposed of.
