Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376 and 511/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is in custody since 26.09.2017 with allegation that the petitioner and co-accused attempted to forcefully take away the informant with intent to outrage her modesty. However, on alarm she could be rescued. Submission is that for some different dispute, false allegation is there.

Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.61441 of 2017 (2) dt.21-12-2017 2/2 like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Sherghati Police Station Case No. 559 of 2017, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation and trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
