Petitioner apprehends arrest in connection with Baysi P.S. Case No. 40 of 2021 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a), 41, 47 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case merely because he is owner of the alleged vehicle. Nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of this petitioner. There is no statement of the driver alleging anything against the petitioner. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from today, be released on bail on furnishing of his personal bond to the satisfaction of Additional Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Purnea in connection with Baysi P.S.
