JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL ORDER 16-05-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the opposite party no. 2.

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case for the offence registered under Sections 323, 498(A), 307/34 of the IPC and3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the accused persons including the petitioner tortured the victim due to nonfulfilment of demand of dowry. It has been submitted by learned counsels for the petitioner and the opposite party no. 2 that the matter has already

The husband/petitioner is not present in the Court because he is an employee of Armed Forces. The father of the petitioner is present in the Court. On behalf of his son, he is ready to keep the opposite party no. 2 as daughter-in-law with due respect and dignity.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of petitioner and opposite party no. 2, let the petitioner above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. Vth, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No. 223 of 2017, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
