1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending his arrest in connection with Sasaram (M) P.S. Case no. 295 of 2024, registered under sections 108, 3(5) and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that her husband, who was an electrician, was under depression on account of his dues not having been paid by a number of persons after the work done by him and for this reason he committed suicide. His dead body was discovered by the side of the railway track.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55492 of 2025(2) dt.29-08-2025 2/3 petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegation is purportedly being made in the nature of the petitioner being one of the accused in the case of abetment to suicide. No such case is made out in so far as from the contents of the F.I.R. it would transpire that the petitioner is one of the persons named in a list of 12 persons including the Executive Engineer with whom certain amounts was still due as per the informant's case. Co-accused Rajeev Ranjan Agrawal @ Rajeev Agrawal whose name also figures in the F.I.R. has been enlarged on anticipatory bail vide order dated 29.1.2025 passed in Cr. Misc. no.74101 of 2024. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation against the petitioner in the F.I.R., grant of bail to similarly situated co-accused vide aforesaid order dated 29.1.2025 and the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned Court below within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Sasaram (M) P.S. Case no.295 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55492 of 2025(2) dt.29-08-2025 3/3 of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rohtas at Sasaram.
