Petitioners are seeking regular bail in Balia P.S. Case No. 153 of 2017 registered under Sections 25(1-B)A, 25(1)(a), 26(1)(2)(3) and 35 of the Arms Act.
Petitioners are said to have been apprehended when the police raided a mini-gun factory which was situated at a lonely place. It is alleged that these petitioners were found in the said mini-gun factory which was being run for manufacturing of illegal arms and marketing of those arms were being done. Learned A.P.P. representing the State submits that these petitioners have been caught from the said mini-gun factory
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63712 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2018 2/2 which was situated in a forest like field at a lonely place and they were there with a purpose to manufacture illegal arms in the said factory.
Considering the gravity of the allegations, I am not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioners in connection with Balia P.S. Case No. 153 of 2017. The prayer for bail is rejected. The trial may be expedited.
