1. The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief(s):- "1. That the present writ petition has been preferred for a direction to the respondent authorities to conduct a fullfledged inquiry into the corruption happening by embezzlement and misappropriation of government funds allotted for various schemes run by the government for welfare and development and take appropriate action by bringing the criminal law into motion and investigate the matter as the Respondents No. 12 to 17 are involved in misusing the public fund with active involvement of State officials of respective villages and their companions in the name of Government Schemes.
And further be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to provide protection to the petitioner, so that any untoward incident may not take place."
2. At the outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law, for redressal
