2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Khagaria P.S. Case No. 165 of 2025 dated 20.05.2025, instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 80, 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The prosecution case, in short, is that on 20.05.2025, the informant got information from the father-inlaw of his daughter that his daughter died after falling from stairs. It is further alleged that when informant reached at the matrimonial house of his daughter then he found that there were injuries on the body of his daughter and blood was oozing out
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55800 of 2025(2) dt.12-08-2025 2/3 from her mouth. The informant has raised suspicion that the petitioner along with his family members have killed his daughter due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that petitioner is the elder brother of husband of deceased. It is next submitted that petitioner is living separately from his brother with his wife and children at Patna since long. He is not concerned with the affairs of his brother and his deceased wife. It is further stated that there is no specific allegation against the petitioner, rather, the allegation levelled against the petitioner is general and omnibus in nature. Lastly, it has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 21.05.2025, he has one criminal case against him and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Khagaria in
