JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-11-2019 The only prayer in the present writ petition is for payment of the withheld amount of leave encashment amounting to a sum of Rs. 2,39,747/- which was withheld on account of objection by the office of the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna to the effect that excess amount of House Rent Allowance has been paid. However, it is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the Accountant General, Bihar, Patna that the confusion has been cleared and authority letter dated 04.11.2019 has been issued for payment of the aforesaid amount of leave

Patna High Court CWJC No.16260 of 2019(4) dt.06-11-2019 2/2 encashment i.e. a sum of Rs. 2,39,747/-, hence the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed.

Having regard to submission made by the learned Accountant General, Bihar Patna as also considering the authority letter dated 04.11.2019 produced before this Court, I finds that the grievances of the petitioner has now stood redressed, hence the present writ petition stands disposed off, however with a direction to the Joint Secretary (Management), Water Resources Department, Bihar, Patna to make payment of the aforesaid amount within a period of two weeks positively. The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
