The petitioner is in custody in connection with Halsi P.S.Case No.20 of 2017 registered for an offence under Sections 306 and 201/34 of the IPC.
The petitioner is father of the informant. It has been submitted that the mother of the informant was ailing lady suffering from diabetic and on the alleged date of occurrence she got down from the upper floor of the house and committed suicide by setting herself on fire one of the room of ground floor. The door was found bolted from inside and after breaking door by the neighbours, the dead body was cremated. The petitioner is an old man aged about 60 years and is suffering from illness. The petitioner having clean antecedent has voluntarily surrendered
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.63362 of 2017 (2) dt.15-01-2018 2/2 before the court below on 07.11.2017 and so he deserves bail. The learned APP on the other hand opposed the submissions.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer for bail is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of ACJM-III, Lakhisarai in connection with Halsi P.S.Case No.20 of 2017.
