The petitioner is in custody in connection with Mejarganj P.S. Case No. 203 of 2016, a case under Sections 385/387 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to F.I.R. ransom was demanded on mobile call. Co-accused Arvind Singh confessed before the police and he named the petitioner and ten others. Arvind Singh has already been allowed bail by a coordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Misc. No.49095 of 202017.
Submission is that the mobile phone by which the ransom was demanded does not belong to the petitioner. Considering the aforesaid fact, let the petitioner,
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.55080 of 2017 (3) dt.03-01-2018 P2/ above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court-below where the case is pending in connection with the aforesaid case, with condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
