Akhilesh Kumar Singh v. The State Of Bihar And ORS
IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT PATNA
Civil Writ Jurisdiction Case No.15603 of 2007 ====================================================== Akhilesh Kumar Singh .... .... Petitioner/s
Versus
The State of Bihar & Ors .... .... Respondent/s ====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE HEMANT KUMAR SRIVASTAVA ORAL ORDER 11-02-2015 No one appears on behalf of the petitioner. Learned counsel for the State is present.
The petitioner has sought the indulgence of this court for cancellation of election/selection of Chairman, Secretary and members of School Education Board of Salempur and for issuance of direction to the respondents to hold re-election/selection of aforesaid board.
Admittedly, the election was held on 28-03-2007 and the elected candidates have already completed their terms. Therefore, it appears to me that this writ petition has become infructuous and that is why, the petitioner has no interest to pursue this matter.
Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed being infructuous.
