The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 7(a) of the P.C. Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he was caught with the bribe money.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 28.03.2019 and has got no criminal antecedent. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. It is a trap case in respect of Rs.12,000/-. Procedure of trap case has not been followed in the present case. For oblique reasons, the present case has been instituted. It is

No.50134 of 2019(3) dt.13-08-2019 2/3 further submitted that the petitioner is ready to deposit an amount of Rs.4 lacs in the court below, which shall be subject to final disposal of the case. Out of aforesaid amount, Rs.2 lacs shall be deposited by the petitioner at the time of furnishing bail bond and the remaining Rs.2 lacs shall be deposited within thirty days from the date of release.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner is directed to deposit an amount of Rs.4 lacs in the court below, which shall be subject to final disposal of the case. Out of aforesaid amount, the petitioner is directed to deposit Rs.2 lacs at the time of furnishing bail bond. On doing so, the petitioner, above named, be released on provisional bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Vigilance-I Court, Patna in connection with Vigilance P.S. case No.15 of 2019. The petitioner shall deposit the remaining Rs.2 lacs within thirty days from the date of release.

Once the balance amount of Rs.2 lacs is deposited in the court below within a period of thirty days from the date of
