JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 24-01-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 10.02.2017, passed in Cr.Misc. No. 2922 of 2017 with a direction to the trial court to expedite and conclude the trial within a period of nine months and petitioner was given liberty to renew his prayer for bail if the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no allegation of firing against the petitioner and he has been in custody since 14.12.2015 and still there is no substantive progress in the trial.

Having heard both sides. It appears that earlier a report was called for from the trial court, from which it appears that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.236 of 2018 (3) dt.24-01-2018 2/2 charge has been framed and the trial court has stated that there is likelihood of conclusion of trial within a period of three months, as such, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail, this application is, accordingly, dismissed.
Trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. (Vinod Kumar Sinha, J) sunil/- U T
