Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is husband of the victim of dowry death. He is in custody since 04.05.2016. In the past, prayer for bail was refused on 30.01.2017 in Cr.Misc.No.51830 of 2016 vide Annexure-1 with liberty to renew the prayer for bail after nine months. The report of the learned Trial Judge would reveal that charges were framed on 07.07.2017. However, no prosecution witness has turned up up-till-now. Considering the aforesaid facts especially

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.6916 of 2018 (3) dt.25-04-2018 period already undergone by the petitioner, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with S.T.No.216 of 2017 arising out of Sadar (Muffasil) Police Station Case No.123 of 2016, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the investigation/trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
