The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Danapur P.S. Case No. 04 of 2017 dated 05.01.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 399, 402 and 414 of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act. One country made pistol and one live cartridge was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Though the petitioner, apart from the present case, has been made accused in three other cases, but in all such cases, he is on bail. The petitioner is in custody since 05.01.2017. Regard being had to the nature of accusation and the period of custody of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant bail to him.
