The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Akbar Nagar P.S. Case No. 90 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 25(1-a), 25 (1-AA), 25(1-B)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

The allegation is regarding the accused persons having found to be engaged in illegal manufacturing of illegal arms. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as far as the petitioner is concerned, no recovery has been made from his possession. It is further submitted that similarly situated coaccused persons have already been granted bail vide order dated 28.03.2018 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 16985 of 2018 and the petitioner is stated to be languishing in custody since 01.11.2017.
