====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE SUNIL DUTTA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 16-02-2024 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Trial No.3056 of 2023 arising out of Complaint Case No.3277 of 2021 instituted under Section 498(A) of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3/4 D.P. Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that vide order dated 13.12.2023 this matter was referred to the Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre for redressal of the dispute between the parties. He further submits that now a report dated 18.01.2024 has been received from the Mediator, Patna High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre stating that

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.59376 of 2023(4) dt.16-02-2024 2/2 the dispute between the parties has been resolved through the process of mediation. He also submits that in view of the settlement he has handed over a Demand Draft bearing No.615100 dated 06.02.2024 amounting Rs.25,000/- in the name of opposite party no.2 in the Court itself.

4. Learned counsel for the informant also submits that both the parties have compromised the matter.

In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks from today, the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Saran at Chapra in connection with Trial No.3056 of 2023 arising out of Complaint Case No.3277 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
