The petitioner is a P.D.S. dealer under Sono Block in the district of Jamui. He was allotted rice under National Food for Work Scheme (hereinafter referred to as NFFW scheme) between 2001 to 2006-07. He has been directed to pay the amount of undistributed rice.
The petitioner submits that he has already deposited 20% of the value of rice at the rate of 13.70 per quintal in view of general order of this Court.
The issues involved in this case stands covered under general order dated 06.07.2011 passed in C.W.J.C. No. 711 of 2011 (Awadh Prasad Singh Vs. The State of Bihar & Ors.) & C.W.J.C. No. 757 of 2011 (Suresh Prasad @ Raj Kumar Vs The
Patna High Court CWJC No.14286 of 2013 (2) dt.04-09-2015 State of Bihar & Ors.).
No coercive steps would be taken against the petitioner, if he further deposit 10 % of the quantity of rice in its present form or its value at the rate of Rs.10.00 per Kg within two months. He would file a fresh representation against the demand within five weeks, which would be disposed of within six weeks thereafter.
This application stands disposed of.
