The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 283, 323, 307, 337, 353 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged by the S.I. of Police that while he was working in the office of Shikarganj P.S., a mob made protest with regard to Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P.S. Case No. 131 of 2013, registered for the offence under Sections 302, 201 of the Indian Penal Code, blocked the road, put the tire on fire and attempted to lit the Police Station on fire. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that accusation is against the mob and the police constable received superficial injury. Statement has been made in para-3 of the petition that petitioners have no criminal antecedent. Similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail vide Cr. Misc. No. 18068 of 2014.
Considering the aforesaid facts, let the above named petitioners be released on bail in the event of their
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.33947 of 2014 (2) dt.27-03-2015 arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Sikarhana at Motihari in connection with Chiraiya (Shikarganj) P.S.
