The petitioners seek bail in connection with Warisaliganj P.S. Case No. 255 of 2017 dated 22.09.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(A) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Ten litres and seven litres of country made liquor were recovered from the possession of petitioner Nos. 1 and 2 respectively. Apart from this, twenty five litres of jaggery sugar solution, which is one of the ingredients of the country made liquor, was recovered outside the house of the petitioners. The petitioners are in custody since 23.09.2017 and do not have any criminal antecedent.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56759 of 2017 (2) dt.30-11-2017 2/2 Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. The petitioners, above named are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) each with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Nawada in connection with Warsaliganj P.S. Case No. 255 of 2017.
