Petitioner superannuated on 31.01.2014. He was initially appointed on 17.03.1975. He worked as Assistant Teacher for 39 years 10 months and 14 days.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he was not

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of petitioner submits that other similarly circumstanced have been granted benefit but the petitioner has been discriminated. Considering the aforesaid, the writ application is disposed of with a direction to the respondent District Programme Officer (Establishment), Patna to take appropriate decision with regard to the claim of the petitioner on the line similarly circumstanced other teachers granted such benefits. Necessary decision in this regard must be taken by the respondent District Programme Officer (Establishment), Patna at the earliest preferably within a maximum period of 60 days from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order. With the aforesaid, the writ application stands disposed of.
