The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Islampur P.S. Case No. 253 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498A and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and under Sections 3⁄4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. The informant was married to the petitioner in the year 2011, but the petitioner subjected her to physical and mental torture due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and ultimately the petitioner drove her out from the house.

It is submitted that the petitioner is ready to keep his wife with all honour and dignity.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26469 of 2015 (3) dt.07-10-2015 2/2 APP vehemently opposed the prayer for anticipatory bail and submitted that the petitioner has already solemnized second marriage with Kukoo Devi at Jehanabad.

Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that the petitioner has already solemnized second marriage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
