It transpires that during the pendency of this application the grievance of the petitioner has substantially been redressed. The petitioner was allowed to retire voluntarily from Bihar Health Service with effect from 19.11.2013. It transpires that payments of pension and gratuity were authorized on 30.03.2014. The general provident fund appears to have been paid to him in July, 2015. The leave encashment has also been paid to him. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

that despite issuance of authority slip, there has been delay in payment of pension and gratuity and, therefore, the petitioner is entitled for interest in view of the delayed payment.

However, in the facts and circumstances of the case, I do not find it to be a fit case for grant of interest on delayed payment.

This application stands disposed of.
