The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Simultalla P.S. Case No. 24/2014 dated 15.06.2014 instituted for the offence under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

The F.I.R. had been lodged against unknown. The informant was robbed of his motorcycle, mobile telephone and cash of Rs. 600/-. After about three years of the occurrence, the petitioner has been remanded in this case on 26.04.2017. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the IMEI number of the looted mobile telephone of the informant was traced to be in possession of one of the cousins of the petitioner. When the aforesaid cousin of the petitioner was interrogated, he is said to have stated that the mobile telephone was given to him by

This is the only material which has been brought on record for justifying the remand of the petitioner in the present case. It has further been submitted that there is no recovery from the possession of the petitioner and he has also not been put on T.I.P.

The petitioner is in custody since 26.04.2017. Earlier, the petitioner had also been made accused in three cases, in all of which he is on bail.

Considering the aforesaid facts, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Jamui in connection with Simultalla P.S. Case No. 24/2014.
