The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 66/2017 dated 28.05.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is the husband of the deceased, with whom he was married in the year 2011. The informant, who is the father of the deceased, has alleged that on 28.05.2017, in wee hours, he was informed on the mobile telephone that his daughter has died. On such information, he came to the matrimonial home of the deceased early in the morning and did not find any one and the dead body was found to burning in the graveyard. Prior to the occurrence, there was a demand of Rs. 2 lakhs and non-fulfillment

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56530 of 2017 (3) dt.12-01-2018 2/2 of the same led to mental and physical torture. Regard being had to the aforesaid allegation levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to him for the present.

In this case, charge-sheet has been submitted. It is therefore expected that the case will be committed to the court of sessions and the trial will be concluded expeditiously. The prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected with the aforesaid observation.
