The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Turkaulia P.S. Case No. 482 of 2017 dated 08.08.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 401/414 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner and another were arrested by the police being in possession of knife and a motorcycle without any registration number. With respect to the theft of the motorcycle which was found to be in possession of the petitioner, another case was lodged being Lakhaura/Muffasil P.S. Case No. 421 of 2017 in which also the petitioner has been remanded. Apart from the present case and the case about which reference has been made above, there is no other case against the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 09.08.2017.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.56608 of 2017 (2) dt.01-12-2017 2/2 Regard being had to the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The petitioner, above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, East Champaran at Motihari in connection with Turkaulia P.S.
