The petitioners seek bail in connection with K. Hat P.S. Case No. 602/2017 dated 31.08.2017 instituted for the offences under Sections 414, 276 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 18(C), 27(B)(ii) of the Drugs and Cosmetic Act, 1940. From the possession of the petitioners, huge quantity of cough syrup has been recovered.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioner no. 1 is the driver of the vehicle, from where the recovery was made; whereas petitioner no. 2 is the cleaner of the vehicle and both of them were not aware about the commodities which were loaded on the vehicle. It has also been submitted that their names do not find mention in the seizure-list.

The petitioners above named are directed to be released on bail on their furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned 1st Additional Sessions Judge, Purnea in connection with K.
